Therefore, we have designed our website and our business processes in a way to ensure that personal data is collected or processed as little as possible.


The following privacy statement explains what type of data is collected when visiting our website and how it is used.


Personal data

General personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address will not be tracked by us, unless you voluntarily provide us with the data , e.g. as part of an online application (please see under Vacancies for mere details on how we process data during the recruitment process). Your data will not be used for any other purposes that the one you based your data on.


Standard data

When you visit our website, our servers will always record the full IP address of the computer used for security reasons. None of the recorded data will enable individual identification.  As a precaution, a log file is generated in case of detected abuse or server errors. The log file contains the IP address, what page you entered on our website (if applicable), the page from which you have reached us (link source), the transmitted identifier of the browser, as well as the system date and time of the page request. The data will be deleted from our servers as soon as the error has been corrected and will be used solely to analyze the abuse or error. We are not able to identify you based on the log data.


Only in exceptional cases your data will be disclosed to third parties, e.g. for prosecution in case of abuse or attack on our IT systems


Technical control – cookies

We use "cookies". These simplify and accelerate the control of your visit to our website. If you do not wish to accept the use cookies on our website, you can disable the cookies in your browser setting.


Statistic evaluation

Piwik Analytics

This website uses Piwik, an open source software for statistical analysis of visitor access. Piwik uses "cookies", which allow an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about your use is stored on the server of our provider. The IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and prior to its storage. You can prevent the installation of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of our website.


Tracking via Google Analytics

When you visit our websites, we transmit data to our service provider Google Inc., as part of the Google Analytics solution. Google Analytics is configured to send your IP address anonymously to Google (anonymizeIP). Google processes your usage data on our behalf in order to compile website activities in the form of reports. We use these reports to optimize and protect our website. If you do not want Google Analytics tracking, you can install a browser add-on to stop Google Analytics tracking.



To protect your personal data held by us from unauthorized access and misuse, we have made extensive technical and operational arrangements. Our security procedures are regularly reviewed and adapted to technological progress. Our employees are committed to maintain confidentiality.

When entering an external website from our site (external link), the external provider may receive information from your browser about which site you are leaving. The external provider is responsible for this data. Like any other website provider, we are unable to influence this process.
